Chilly Paneer Gravy Recipe

Chilli Paneer gravy is one of the most popular indo-Chinese dish. It is an easy and flavorful recipe which can be served with rice or noodles. It can be made with homemade as well as store brought paneer but I prefer homemade paneer for a soft juicy texture. In this dish, paneer is coated with a corn flour mixture and fried but you can avoid this step if you want to keep it healthier. Also, this can be made vegan by using tofu instead of paneer. Vegetable stock is generally used for making gravy but you can also add water in place of stock.

In addition to green capsicum, you can also use red bell peppers for more color and crunchiness in the dish. Avoid cooking onion and capsicum too much to keep the crunchiness intact. You can adjust the amount of corn flour and water to get the desired consistency of gravy.
